Did You Know That A Good Understanding of The Signs of Anxiety Panic Attacks Will Help You Eliminate It From Your Life Using Nothing More Than A Revolutionary Simple Technique?

If you have a good knowledge of the signs of anxiety and the background of the condition itself, don’t you think the battle to restore your health back to normal by overcoming anxiety is half won?

Did you know that there are over 20 million people who suffer from anxiety and related disorders including the different phobias in the US alone?
So be rest assured that your problem is not exclusive to you alone.

Anxiety panic attacks are a nasty phenomenon that cramps your lifestyle and makes sufferers lead a life of misery. Not anymore, if you’ve got the right tools to fight back.

The Root Cause of the Anxiety Panic Attacks

Your brain has a pathway called the limbic system. The limbic system controls emotions and levels of anxiety in our everyday lives. Within this limbic system is an area called the amygdala.

This amygdala gland is now confirmed by the National Institute of Mental Health to be responsible for anxiety and panic attacks.

The amygdala gland is normally quiet until called upon to become active. It gets active when there is perceived threat or danger to ourselves – plays a major role in the flight or fight response. It then switches off again once the event is over.

However repeated, constant stimulation of this amygdala in times of stress, anger, sadness etc leaves it permanently switched on.

As a result over time, anxiety and panic attacks plus indeed phobias creep in on you, making you one of the 20 million people currently having this problem.

Your brain is re-conditioned by virtue of this repeated stimulation of the amygdala, causing anxiety and related conditions to develop. So addressing this root cause of the problem essentially leads to a cure and it’s easier than you think.

What Are The Signs of Anxiety

To understand how the signs of anxiety or symptoms of anxiety as medics would say, you have to learn something about 2 systems in the body called sympathetic and para-sympathetic. The sympathetic system is responsible for most of the symptoms or signs that you experience during anxiety panic attack situation.

When an anxiety attack is imminent, your brain gives signals to another gland called the adrenal to release, yes, you guessed it, adrenaline. Without getting too technical, the release of adrenaline triggers an immense sympathetic response which gives rise to symptoms such as:

Pounding heart
Racing heart rate
Sweating
Trembling and shaking feeling
Dizziness or feeling faint
Numbness and tingling sensation
Fear of losing control of your breathing
Chest tightness sometimes
Feeling of a lump in the throat
Dry mouth
Flushed skin
Blurred vision
Confusion
Heavy feeling in the stomach
Muscle aches and pains

All of these signs of anxiety are the direct effect of large quantities of adrenaline hormone being released and overwhelming your body systems to go into over-drive usually in preparation for flight or fight.

However, because of the scary nature of these signs, we become afraid of losing control which naturally creates a sea of fear and panic.

Ordinarily, after an attack, the signs of anxiety notwithstanding, your body is supposed to recover helped by the para-sympathetic system. The para-sympathetic system opposes the sympathetic system. The para-sympathetic restores calm.

How Does Stress and Emotions Come Into Play?

If you have been stressed for a long period, the normal resolution that occurs after an anxiety attack does not occur.

So in essence, you have higher than normal levels of circulating levels of adrenaline and other chemicals in your body at rest.

Remember, I mentioned earlier that this problem is caused by the amygdala reset button that no longer switches off.

With the amygdala button in the permanent “on” position, during periods of prolonged stress, anger or sadness, the stage is set for your adrenal glands to maintain higher than normal levels of adrenaline and other body chemicals longer than necessary.

The net result is, this heightened state of affairs leaves your body prone to panic attacks every now and again. You tend to be on edge most times and the fear of having another anxiety attack and another perpetuates this vicious circle.

So, What’s The Solution?

Now that we know how anxiety comes about along with the signs and symptoms of anxiety, is there a reliable solution?

Well, the answer is a resolute yes and the solution is fairly easier than you think. I will come to that in a minute.

Can I just say that, although emotions can cause anxiety and panic attacks, you don’t necessarily need psycho-analysis and digging into your sub-conscious to eliminate anxiety and panic attacks or even obsessive compulsive disorder from your life.

You will get the solution shortly and a pleasant surprise to go with it. So stick with me, okay.
